Fmr. President Obama Tweets About Houston Flooding, Now THIS Is How A President Should Act!!

At least five people were killed and more than 1,000 people have been rescued as record rainfall saturated Houston as part of Hurricane Harvey, according to the National Weather Service.

Flood waters are continuing to rise in the area, which has been under a flash flood emergency since Saturday night. At least 20 inches of rain have fallen in the city. The hurricane was downgraded to a tropical storm, but is still expected to bring heavy thunderstorms to the area in the coming days.

Donald Trump has been tweeted about the floods several times today.

“Wow – Now experts are calling #Harvey a once in 500 year flood! We have an all out effort going, and going well!”

“Many people are now saying that this is the worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen. Good news is that we have great talent on the ground.”

Trump’s tweets have been widely criticized because he’s not offering much in the solution department, and the WOW! tweet has many people surprised, since people have died due to the flooding. He will visit Texas on Tuesday.

Now look at former President Obama’s tweet:

“Thank you to all the first responders and people helping each other out. That’s what we do as Americans. Here’s one way you can help now.”

And people are expressing their gratitude:
